Course overview

Every year, workers in Saudi Arabia suffer workplace injuries that could have been prevented. This course is built for the people who carry responsibility for others on the ground — safety officers, supervisors, managers and workers — so that everyone goes home healthy at the end of every shift.

The course covers occupational safety and health across 10 modules and 50 lessons. It starts with the foundations: what safety means in the Saudi context, who is responsible, and why accidents happen. It then explains the regulatory framework — Saudi Labor Law, MHRSD, NCOSH, GOSI and Civil Defense — so you understand the rules, why they exist and how they apply to your workplace.

From there it gets practical: identifying hazards before they cause harm, assessing risk in five simple steps, job safety analysis (JSA), the hierarchy of controls, permits to work, energy isolation, working at height, confined spaces and contractor safety. Dedicated modules cover fire safety, electrical and machinery safety, hazardous substances, and heat stress and other Saudi climate hazards.

The final module covers incident management: reporting, root-cause investigation and building a system that keeps improving. Every lesson is available in Arabic and English, each module ends with a short quiz, and the course finishes with a 40-question final exam and a digital certificate of completion.
